Detailed VA Application Instructions
Change Program/Place of Training (Form 22-1995)

If you HAVE previously received education benefits from the VA

Select "Change Program/Place of Training (Form 22-1995)" from the drop down menu.

Then click

Questions 6 and 7 ask about your goals and requested program. Your answers should look like this.

Question 8 asks how you will take this training. Select “Flight Training”

Question 9a asks about the school and its address. Your answers should look like this.

Question 9b asks about the school for which you have previously obtained VA Educational benefits. This is the school for which you previously requested VA Benefits.

Continue answering the questions until the application is complete.

When complete, click

• Within a few days you will get an email stating that your app is being processed.
• Within 6-8 weeks you will receive in the mail a Certificate of Eligibility stating how much benefits ($) you have available.
• If you need help or want to know your benefit sooner, call 888-442-4551 (option 1, then option 0 to speak with a person). You will quickly be speaking to a friendly, knowledgeable person.
