Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Programs
CFI Program
ATP has discontinued offering the initial CFI certificate in the CFI Program to more efficiently accommodate the increasing number of Airline Career Pilot Program students who attain their CFI certificates in Stage 5 of the Airline Career Pilot Program.
Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) Rating
The MEI Rating program adds multi-engine privileges to your existing CFI certificate. To be eligible for this program, you must already have 15 hours of multi-PIC required for the multi-engine instructor rating.
The MEI Rating (15-Hour) program adds multi-engine privileges to your existing CFI certificate, and includes additional multi-engine PIC time to meet the 15 hour multi-PIC requirement for the multi-engine instructor rating.
Multi-Engine (MEI) & Instrument Instructor (II) Ratings
The MEI & II Rating program adds multi-engine and instrument priviliges to your existing CFI certificate. To be eligible for this program, you must already have 15 hours of multi-PIC required for the multi-engine instructor rating.
The MEI & II (15-Hour) Rating program adds multi-engine and instrument priviliges to your existing CFI certificate, and includes additional multi-engine PIC time to meet the 15 hour multi-PIC requirement for the multi-engine instructor rating.
Instrument Instructor (II) Rating
The Instrument Instructor Rating program adds instrument priviliges to your existing CFI certificate with multi-engine privileges.
Note: For programs based out of Fort Lauderdale (FLL), a $50 airport user fee will be added to the cost of the program. This fee does not apply to any other Training Centers.
