ATP's CFI Program Instructors
ATP's CFI Program is managed and taught by some of the most qualified pilots and instructors in the country. Below is an excerpt from NAFI regarding our Training Manager who also conducts most of the CFI Initial programs in Jacksonville:
The National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) takes pride in announcing a significant aviation accomplishment on the part of Walter S Schamel, a training manager for Airline Transport Professionals and a resident of Winter Haven, FL. Recently, Walt's designation as a Master CFI (Certificated Flight Instructor) was renewed by NAFI.
To help put this achievement in its proper perspective, there are approximately 81,000 CFIs in the United States. Fewer than three hundred of them have achieved that distinction thus far. The last seven national Flight Instructors of the Year were Master CFIs while Walt is one of only 38 Florida aviation educators to earn this prestigious “Master” title.
Testimonials
“I would like to express my appreciation and to inform you of the outstanding instruction I received in your CFI course. I am a corporate pilot and have been flying some 250 hours a year in a 1998 Beech Baron for a real estate company. I saw the CFI course as a way to better equip myself in this tough economy and am pleased to say that I passed all my checkrides at the first attempt.
I was impressed by the knowledge and skill of all the instructors who taught me and helped me through the rougher spots. They deserve a big pat on the back for a job well done. The course was intense and demanded great effort, however I would readily recommend it anyone who is contemplating getting their instructor ratings. I will now be instructing part time out of Newnan, GA and hopefully something in the corporate world will again present itself. Until then I will hopefully stay busy with students! Please pass on my appreciation and thank you once again.”
If you haven’t flown with ATP before, read a few testimonials that we have recently received from other pilots. Fly with ATP and you will see why we offer the best training experience in general aviation.
