ATP is seeking professional simulator instructors for the Jacksonville Beach Simulator Training Center. These instructors will monitor ATP CFI standardization flights in a Level 3 Piper Seminole FTD and provide orientation sessions for new ATP CFIs from ATP-developed courseware. These positions requires some flexibility in work schedule, but anticipate mostly 8 to 5, Monday thru Friday. Future responsibilities will include ground school and FTD training in CRJ 200 Regional Jet FTDs, and also Level 6 D-JET FTDs.
Qualifications
- Private Pilot Certificate with Single-Engine & Instrument Ratings
- CFI and current FAA Medical NOT required
- Prefer past 121, 135 or military experience
Responsibilities
- Monitor FTD flights with ATP CFIs.
- Assure that ATP SOP is correctly adhered to.
- Provide classroom-style instruction and orientation to ATP CFIs.
- Monitor each CFIs progress through their proficiency program and report progress to flight management.
- Facilitate FTD training of approximately 25 CFIs per month.
