ATP’s Regional Jet Program has been very busy training pilots for the current hiring wave. All the top regional airlines are recruiting from ATP and this looks to be a long sustained hiring cycle. As a Simulator Technician, it will be your responsibility to ensure that the Flight Training Devices used in this program are maintained and reliable.

ATP is seeking a Simulator Technician at its headquarters in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Dallas (Arlington), Texas training center or Phoenix (Mesa), Arizona training center. Monthly travel to other training centers will be required.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in simulator / flight training device maintenance - preferably in Frasca flight training devices
  • Must be experienced in PC Repair, Windows operating system usage and PC Networking
  • Be an excellent communicator and work seamlessly with ATP Instructors and Students to provide an excellent customer experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ATP’s flight training devices so that they are consistently reliable with minimum down time
  • Rebuild and repair various Windows-based PC’s throughout the training center
  • Travel to various ATP Training Centers as needed
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule so that all Flight Training Devices provide maximum utilization during training hours

Pay

  • $40,000 salary

    • Life $15,000 (100% paid by ATP, extra available at employee’s expense)
