Panama City Flight School
Airline Transport Professionals has launched its much ancipated VA Airline Career Pilot Program at its Panama City FL location.
“I am writing to you to inform you of my recent experience as a student with ATP at Panama City and to give some insight as to the professionalism of the instructors and the training environment. My training began as a zero time student and I completed the SEL commercial certificate well within the projected 5 month training schedule when you take into account that I was leaving for four days at a time every month to fulfill my National Guard duty. When I started the program I was a commercial helicopter pilot for the Army, trained at Fort Rucker, AL. The ATP part 141 training program at Panama City is a very intense and arduous program that is greatly eased by the professionalism of the instructors. My experience at ATP has been awesome! I have completed the course with the confidence and knowledge I need to continue my career in aviation and I owe all the instructors at ATP, Panama City a great deal of gratitude for their efforts.”

- Take Highway 98 into Panama City Beach. Cross Hathaway Bridge. 2nd Light, Turn Left on 23rd Street. At the 3rd Traffic Light Turn Left on Hwy 390. At the 3rd Traffic Light Turn Left on Lisenby Avenue. This will dead end into the Panama City Bay County International Airport. Turn right at the service road that will take you to the south side of the airport. ATP is located in SheltAir Aviation Building beside airport tower.

- From Highway 98 turn Right on Highway 77. Turn Left on 23rd Street. Turn Right on Lisenby Avenue. This will dead end into the Panama City Bay County International Airport. Turn right on the service road that will take you to the south side of the airport. ATP is located in SheltAir Aviation Building directly beside airport tower.

- Exit Highway 231. Proceed south on Highway 231 to SR 390/St Andrews Blvd. Turn Right on SR 390/St Andrews Blvd. Proceed to Lisenby Avenue. Turn Right. ATP Housing for Career Pilot Students
ATP offers a convenient housing option for $200 per week. You get a shared bedroom in an upscale, furnished apartment with all utilities included. (Phone service is not provided.) Well-equipped business center facilities and recreation facilities are available at all ATP apartments. Single-occupancy rooms may be available at a higher rate.
