How to Use Multiple Email Addresses
for the Same Email Account

Some email services allow you to append a "+tag" qualifier to your email address (e.g., normal address+tag@example.com). The "+tag" portion of the address is ignored when routing the message until it reaches your email account, at which point you may create filters or rules to further process the messages.

You can use this feature to register more than one person with the same email account in the ATP Financing Application as potential co-borrowers. For example, you could register your mom and dad, each with a different address:

• jonesfamily+mom@gmail.com
• jonesfamily+dad@gmail.com

Test your email service to find out if you can use a "+tag" email address. Some email services, require a "-tag" (hyphen) instead of "+tag" (plus). Test which one works for you.
