iPad Setup Instructions
For Return Users Who Have Launched the App Before
These instructions are for enrolled students who have received a content update email from ATP, and have already installed or launched the ATP Flight School App. (If you haven’t installed or launched the app, see instructions for new users.)
Before You Begin
- Make sure you have a fast WiFi connection.
- Check for updates in the iTunes App Store.
- Allow 30 minutes to complete these instructions.
Throughout these instructions you will exit and re-launch the app multiple times. This is necessary so that the app can contact the server to authenticate your enrolled courses.
Register
Launch the ATP Flight School app.
Press the Settings icon.
Complete the user information form exactly as shown in your content update email.
Press the blue "Done" button at top-right.
Press the iPad home button to exit the app. Then launch the ATP Flight School app again.
Load Course
Press the “Content” button at the top-left of the screen, then press the “Library” button.
Scroll to the bottom of the “Library” to see available courses.
Press the course that you want to load, and wait for a “Save current course.” prompt. Press “ok”.
Press the iPad home button to exit the app. Then launch the ATP Flight School app again.
Your newly downloaded and selected course will be active. Press the “Content” button to select your first lesson.
